Stories I gather from roadsides, kitchens, courtyards and hills. Small scenes that stay with me.

Turmeric on a grandmother’s hands. A blue door in Jodhpur. A monsoon train window. A handwoven turban. A roadside meal that becomes the day’s best memory.
I started Colours in Chaos to gather these small scenes before they disappear. It is a place to look longer, ask better questions, and leave with more than a photograph.
I leave Chandigarh on 13 February 2027.
Every loop begins and ends at home in Chandigarh, in my Thar Roxx with a medium-format camera. I file each one under one of the six colours.
Each colour opens onto a place, a ritual, a craft, or a memory.
Four pieces to begin. More will arrive from the road, and from people who share the places they know by heart.

I go gently. The people, landscapes and working lives I meet are not there to decorate my trip.
I make room for the unplanned detail, the local rhythm, the story that refuses to be rushed.
I listen first and give credit, so people describe their own homes, histories and traditions.
I travel with care for the people, landscapes and livelihoods that welcome me in.
Send me the
thing you noticed.
A photograph with a story behind it. A family habit. A food stall you return to. A maker, guide or landscape that deserves a proper introduction.

2028: the Deep South and the Simhastha, with readers choosing detours.
Curated routes, local hosts, and responsible travel experiences.
2029: a first small-group journey on the Northeast route, with hosts I meet along the way.
Trusted local goods, services and experiences, shared with care.
Prints, a book, and work from the makers I photograph, with their names and their share.
A note from me when there is something good to share: a fresh story, a useful route, or a voice worth hearing.
Sign-ups open in January 2027, before I leave. A quiet note from me, now and then. No noise.
